Living Floors were delighted to carry out the flooring works at this beautiful property in Christchurch. Our client wanted the look and feel of real wood without the upkeep and maintenance that is sometimes associated with engineered wood. The floor was installed in several downstairs areas, including the kitchen and hallway, as the customer’s priority was a durable, hard wearing and easy to clean product.  The customer visited our showroom and had lengthy discussions with our team members before settling on Amtico Spacia.

Due to sub-floor irregularities, the floor was prepared with an F Ball smoothing compound (6mm latex) to ensure a smooth, level finish and ready for the Amtico to be fully adhered. This was fitted using full size planks in a herringbone laying pattern with a single border. It has added character and warmth to this luxurious property and perfectly complimented the rest of the interior. The job was completed, as usual, to our extremely high standard and our client was delighted with the end result.
